I have compiled community events that I thought would be fun
for you and your pet. Some of these events you can bring your
pet with you. I suggest you check prior to you going. If you know
of one that is not listed please let me know and I will add it.
Bucks County, PA EVENT CALENDAR - 2012
April 28, 2012 Wet Nose Rescue
Location: Warminster Community Park
Time: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Join Wet Nose Rescue as we host our first annual spring pet
fair. We will have over 20 rescues, vendors, food, live music,
doggy costume contest, a cancer walk and many raffles with
great prizes. This is an event you can't miss!

May 5, 2012 Bark for Life Of Doylestown
Location: George M. Bush Park
Time: 9:30 Registration begins
By supporting Bark For Life, you help American Cancer Society
save lives. Bring your best friend and join us for fun filled day
starting with a walk, and continue with demonstrations,
contests and games.

May 19, 2012 Langhorne Pet Fair
Location: Mayors Playground
Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Rain Date: May 20, 2012
First Annual Pet Fair in the Borough of Langhorne. Event will
include a pet show, contests, crafts, and lots of activities.

May 20, 2012 Hair of the Dog 5K
Location: 610 Windsor & Perrineville Rd. Robbinsville, NJ
Time: 10:00 AM
In 2008 we organized our Inaugural Hair of the Dog 5K in
hopes of generating much needed funds to support pet
rescue. It was a great success and we decided we wanted to
do it every year. This event is unlike any other local event . . .
not only do we offer a 5K Run/Walk but because the event is
held at a winery we are also able to offer wine tasting and wine
by the glass/bottle.

June 3, 2012 Tail Waggers Strut
Location: Washington Crossing State Park
Time: 9:00AM - 3:00 PM
The Crossings Animal Sanctuary, Inc., a nonprofit animal
welfare organization, will host the 3rd Annual Tail Waggers’
Strut dog walk festival at Washington Crossing State Park on
Sunday, June 3 2012, from 9 a.m.to 4 p.m. (Rain date June 10,
2012). The proceeds will be used to acquire land, build, and
operate Bucks County’s first no-kill animal sanctuary.

Location: Tabor Children's Services, Main St & New Britain Rd,
Doylestown
Time: Sat, 11 - 4, and Sun, noon - 4
Fabulous Family Fun - activities for the entire family: petting
zoo, climbing wall, inflatables, Tubs of Fun ride, games, pet
parade, delicious festival foods, plant sale, pet adoptions,
youth Performance Competition, youth 3 on 3 Basketball
Tourney. Proceeds benefit abused and neglected children.
